Team Vanuatu Confirmed for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

The Vanuatu Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) has officially confirmed the athletes and officials who will represent Vanuatu at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

A team of 14 athletes will compete across Athletics, Judo, Swimming, Boxing, Para Powerlifting and Weightlifting as they prepare to represent the nation on one of the Commonwealth's biggest sporting stages.

Among the selected athletes are Ajah Pritchard-Lolo and Thomas Wilbur, who qualified directly through the Commonwealth rankings, a historic achievement for Vanuatu Weightlifting. Marek Sahi will compete in Para Powerlifting through a Bipartite Invitation.

The Games will be held from 23 July to 2 August 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland. Team Vanuatu will depart in July as preparations enter their final phase.

The Vanuatu Commonwealth Games Association has confirmed that all participation costs, including travel, accommodation, logistics and Games preparation, will be fully funded by VASANOC.

As the countdown to Glasgow continues, Team Vanuatu carries the pride of the nation and looks forward to competing against some of the Commonwealth's best athletes.
